Social media influencer Sthe Bhengu’s baby daddy Fidelis Moema has been arrested for his alleged involvement in money laundering, fraud and theft at KPMG.

Fidelis Moema, a bursary specialist at auditing firm KPMG handed himself over to the Hawks for allegedly embezzling R16,5 million which was meant for eligible bursary recipients.

It is alleged that Fidelis lived a lavish lifestyle alongside his influencer girlfriend, bringing her a Range Rover and taking a baecation to Greece.

An X (previously known as Twitter) user posted videos of the couple’s baecation alongside the media statement issued by the Hawks which states that Fidelis handed himself over and will be appearing in court.
The police report issued by the Hawks’ Warrant Officer Thatohatsi Mavimbela says, “Instead of paying university fees on behalf of students, the accused paid the monies into bank accounts of friends and individuals who own businesses.”
He further explains:
“The money would then be paid back into his personal bank account. KPMG suffered a loss of R16.5 million due to his fraudulent actions.”
Many X users took to the comment section to share old tweets Sthe made regarding the situation.
