No one embodies the phrase “living my best life” quite like Popi Sibiya. She has quickly emerged as one of the most exciting lifestyle and travel content creators from mzansi. Her latest endeavour, which has taken her to Umlazi, has left internet users intrigued and eagerly discussing her adventures.

Popi Sibiya has slowly but surely become a notable name in the travel content creation space as she has captured audiences with her daring nature that has taken her to all the nooks and crannies of the world, some of which are known to be dangerous. The best way to describe Popi would be to label her an anthropologist, as her trips around the world are more than just about exploring as a tourist, rather, she immerses herself deeply into the cultures of the people she visits, giving her an immense understanding and appreciation for the way they live.

After wrapping up an exciting and eventful trip in Lesotho, Popi has made it back to her home shores and has gotten right back to the hustle with a trip to Durban. Instead of opting for luxurious accommodation, which Durban has no shortage of, Popi has opted to immerse herself in Durban’s hostel life. She has found refuge in a popular hostel in the infamous Umlazi township, which is notorious for the high levels of danger.

Although this is not surprising at all from Popi, who has explored some uncharted territories in numerous foreign countries, internet users have expressed concern and have admitted that the content creator has piqued their interests as they wonder why and how she ended up in such a situation.

At this stage, Popi is due and deserving of that Nobel Peace Prize please.???‍♀️ https://t.co/PZivBST4EQ

Those who have followed Popi for some time now have come to reassure others that Popi is in no way new to this, but true to this lifestyle and will be just fine. After surviving environments like the Brazilian favelas, Durban might be some small waters for Popi to cross.

You have been in Goma a literal warzone you’ve been to the favelas . The hostels should be a walk in the park . Mele be Sabe wena wuwe Inkabi enkhulu

What cracks me up is how you guys are shocked, Popi travelled in an open boat in the sea for the whole night. With 50+ people ??? Durban is nothing ??‍♀️
