Prep time: 5 minutes

Cooking time: 45 minutes

Serves: 3

  • 6 chicken thighs, skinless, deboned and chopped
  • 1 spring onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 thumb-sized fresh ginger, grated
  • 2L (8-10 cups) chicken stock

Lentils and bacon soup

  1. Place all ingredients in a saucepan. Cover with lid and cook for 35-45 minutes.
  2. Serve with bread slices.
