Sexual desire and sexual health are complex, and relate to many more factors than just nutrition. Other factors also include stress levels, personal preferences, injuries and so forth. So, it is natural for people to experience ups and downs in their interest in sex.

According to Medical News Today, a health magazine, the following foods may be of benefit to your sex life;

  • whole grains; your brown rice, oats and fibre-rich foods
  • leafy green vegetables
  • fruits, such as apples, oranges and berries
  • nutritious fats, like olive oil, oily fish, nuts and seeds, healthy fats
  • legumes, including lentils and peas
  • lobster
