A woman’s wig ends up looking like an old washcloth after her mother-in-law accidentally put it in the washing machine.

TikTok creator @bohemianvoyage1 posted a video was what her silky smooth wig looked like after being in the washing machine, and given that wigs need constant maintenance putting them in the washing machine is not the answer, and although it was a mistake internet users joked that the mother-in-law did it on purpose.

In the video, the creator is seen wearing a beautiful wig and then later showing users what it looked like after spending 45 minutes in the washing machine.

She posted the video on TikTok with the caption, “It was in there for a full 45 minutes.. I wish I could scream, I also had to throw it away as it was beyond saving.”

Many TikTok users took to the comment section to make jokes about the creator’s bad hair situation.

One user alluded that the incident was not a mistake, causing the creator to reply, “Yes I had it in a towel. She never opened it, she just picked it up and washed the towels.”

Another user commented: “I would cry for 40 days and 40 nights. ( adding a crying emoji)

One user commented that this incident happened to her before when her helper put her wig in the washing machine but fortunately, she was able to fix it.
