Internet users react to a video of a woman who found rat remains in Sasko bread she brought from Spar.

Just days after a concerned Durban woman, Nombulelo Mkumla, took to social media to share a video of rat remains that she discovered in her bread after consuming it for a couple of days, many internet users have shared their thoughts on this disgusting video.

According to news publication, IOL, the woman had bought the bread from a local shop and after a few days of consumption, discovered what seemed to be rat remains in the moulding of her bread.

This video circulating on X (formerly known as Twitter) shows what the bread looked like.

Nombulelo Mkumla bought Sasko bread from Spar. She ate some slices Next day she found slices laced with dead rodent(rat or mouse) parts. Speaking to the above-mentioned source on the incident, PepsiCo South Africa’s Cornel Vermeulen shared that this unfortunate incident happened because of the heat conditions in the factory leading to the dead rat, adding that, the bread was tested and an investigation would be launched as the bread in question did not meet the necessary standards.

I once found crickets in a full loaf of bread cut up like this rat. Yes, it was Sasko https://t.co/mTm5pRhuS0

Trained with this company that did maintenance on this other bakery?? you’ll never consume bread once you see what goes on. Chances are that dough fell and they picked it up ‘nd threw it back in, not noticing that rat https://t.co/2MIuwVLTls
