How to change a car tyre

by Silindokuhle Booi

If you find yourself unable to replace a flat tyre on your car, this article will guide you through the necessary items and steps to effectively change your car’s tyre. Following these instructions will prevent you from becoming stranded due to a sudden tyre failure.

Step 1:

Get the emergency equipment, the triangle to be exact. Place it behind the car so that oncoming cars can be aware that something is happening.

Step 2:

Retrieve the spare wheel where it is stored.

Step 3:

Put the floor jack under the car, closer to the tyre that will be changed then start pumping so it goes up.

Step 4:

Get the tool box and get a wheel spanner to loosen the wheel nuts. When you are done you will then remove the wheel.

Step 5:

Take the spare wheel and put it in where the damaged wheel was, make sure it is well aligned.

Step 6:

When you are done, take the bolts and put them back on the wheel, make sure the wheel is tied up well.

Step 7:

When the tyre is replaced, remove the tringle, take the damaged wheel, floor jack and tools to the car boot.

Here are the tools you will need
