It has been a long and hectic third term for all the school learners. From all the learning, exploring and playing with friends at school, they sure deserve this break.

They have endured so much, from waking up early in the morning, endless homework to even attending Saturday classes and extra mural activities.

Now that the school holidays are here, they can finally catch a break.

Here are some fun holiday activities they can enjoy in Cape Town during this break:

Cool Runnings Toboggan Track, opposite the Bellville Velodrome in Tygervalley, Cape Town, is the first downhill toboggan run in Africa. This summer version of snow tobogganing delivers the ultimate in safe, thrilling speed, in a bobsled on wheels down a 1,25 km winding track. All ages are welcome (even adults).

Millstone is an eco-friendly farm stall and café, a rare slice of the old rustic Cape Town, situated alongside a riding school in the shadow of an old farmhouse. Made for lazy breakfasts and lunchtimes, with great coffee, freshly squeezed juices, wholesome snacks and meals, the delicious smell of freshly baked bread coming from wood fired ovens, its relaxed natural setting cannot fail to put the breaks on a hectic schedule of non-stop site-seeing.
