Celebs prove summer bodies are made in winter

by All4Women
Celebrities show us how they kept fit in winter for the ultimate summer body

These celebrities have always been fitness icons and they prove that it’s not just glitz and glamour – summer bodies are really made in winter.

People around the world share two common challenges:

  • Going to the gym consistently
  • Going to the gym consistently during the winter months

And it’s no different in Mzansi.

Once the temperature drops, it’s more difficult than ever to motivate ourselves to reactivate our Planet Fitness accounts and hit the treadmill.

However, our celebrities – being the role models that they are – are determined to change that.

Summer bodies are made in winter, and these fitness buffs are giving us all the motivation we need to make the most of the last few months of this season.

Sbahle Mpisane

Like Unathi’s, Sbahle Mpisane workout routine is a year-long schedule and winter is no different.

Mzansi’s fitness bunny is always ready to share inspiration on our timelines. When she’s not working out, she’s inspiring others to reach their fitness goals.

Ayanda Thabethe

Ayanda Thabethe is so fit, it’s enviable!

After taking a close look at what the presenter does in the gym, we can understand why she’s in such great shape.

Always incorporating a creative twist to your normal exercises keeps it fun and challenging, @laikynmabona and I had such fun pushing through these sets. P.S the first exercise is one of my favorites- when I started training with @laikynmabona I could only manage about 5 burpees – struggling ! So it’s an exercise that shows me how far I’ve come. Now that I’ve got the consistency right with gym , I’m concentrating on how I eat which is even harder for me!!! Have a great fitness week ahead! Remember small steps still get you to the destination, pace yourself. Compete with yourself.

Unathi Msengana

Is there ever a time of year when Unathi is not training? Whether it’s summer, winter or spring, the Idols judge is always in the gym.

Thankfully, she doesn’t have anybody holding her back and doesn’t want anybody in your life to hold you back

Cassper Nyovest

Cassper Nyovest is so serious about his summer body that he started training in autumn!

This picture, taken in April, came before he announced #FillUpMosesMabhida; so you can be sure the working out is about to ramp up.

It was painful but the ambiance was amazing!!! I am proud of myself right now!!! I was really going for a sub 3 so 2h52 would’ve been fine as my first run but I pushed and I surprised myself when in Finished in 2h20 on the Nike App. Waiting for my official time from the shoe tag. All I want right now, is some Mango Ciroc to celebrate!!!! We did it guys!!! Thank you for the messages !!! Y’all really pushed me!!! #GoMufasa #TeamNike #KsazobaLit
