What a devastating time to be a Kaizer Chiefs fan

If you have a Kaizer Chiefs fan close to your heart, kindly check on them as their club continues to test their loyalty with less than satisfactory performances. The Soweto giants leave fans distraught after failing to secure a victory against Supersport United.

Kaizer Chiefs have left their fans swallowing their words and their pride after a confident approach to their match-up against Supersport United quickly turned sour as Gavin Hunt continues to torment coach Nabi’s side. The clash was a classic lesson on how to put the belt to butt from the Atteridgville-based Supersport as they delivered a clean and convincing performance to secure a 4-1 victory over Kaizer Chiefs.

The night was characterised by unfavourable, wet conditions which Kaizer can use to console themselves for bottling this game. Their slow start to the game was merely a preview of what the fans would be subjected to for the rest of the game, as they had only a few moments where they displayed great execution of their game plan. This loss places them in sixth position in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) standings, with their future uncertain as they look on to deal with the complicated Royal AM debacle.

Fans have come to social media to express their disappointment in their head coach Naserine Nabi, as they place the blame for this loss on his shoulders, questioning his ability to competently lead the team back to its former glory days.

“There is a huge question mark about Nabi now. Why do you play cross while Mashiane raised his hand last game? I don’t even see the work Maart contributes to this team,” a frustrated Instagram user says.

Other fans reveal that these results are something that they have been accustomed to as their team has consistently raised their hopes up, only to return to their habit of fumbling winnable games.

This is the @KaizerChiefs we know.
