Thapelo Molomo shares how he lost 15kg in 3 months

IdolsSA season 18 winner, Thapelo Molomo inspired many with his weight loss journey where he lost a whooping 15kg in three months.

Thapelo who previously wowed Mzansi with his powerful and captivating voice in 2022, has recently taken to the social media platforms to share his impressive weight loss journey.

Taking to his Instagram page, Thapelo shared videos starting from January this year, when he started the dreading journey of shedding weight. Between the pictures shared in January and in March, the transformation is visible with fat around the stomach area shredded and his body a bit toned on the chest. In the recent pictures, Thapelo can be seen dancing in the gym seemingly happy with his progress.

He captioned his post: “Refusing to be old. Gym and health.”

The songbird had also shared his weight journey loss and included pictures of him at the gym, topless while showcasing his summer body. He advised that, to lose weight, one should eat health, be disciplined and gym consistently.

Taking to the comment section, Instagram users said.

One user said: “What a transformation wow very impressed.”

Another one said: “Try eating twice a day and eating clean.”

While another one said: “Please share the diet plan.”

Speaking to TshisaLIVE he said he went from 120kg to 105kg, but his goal is 90kg.

“I wanted to gain confidence and look good, but what pushed me most was when I was starting to buy clothes and they couldn’t fit me nicely. They were tight, so I thought I needed to take care of my health and my body- that’s when I started to hit the gym,” said Thapelo.
