Actress Palesa Madisakwane who is the mother of Bahumi Mhlongo, whom she shares with media personality Somizi Mhlongo’s child opened up about a few things while she was speaking on the Boldly Owami Podcast.

Palesa shared that she fell pregnant and faced a lot of public criticism because people claimed that she wanted to trap the owner of the Somphire Kids clothing brand. She revealed that she did not know he was gay until after being pregnant because he did not act gay.

In a video shared by MDN News, Palesa speaks about how their 30-year-old daughter Bahumi is still struggling even though her father is financially stable. “Bahumi is not financially stable even now, she does not have a place to stay, she stays with me her mother, and she uses my car,” she said.

Further adding that she still needs to take Ubers on days she needs to go for auditions, “It’s good that she is still hustling like any other child, but I don’t want people thinking that she is a spoilt child that has a bank account with millions in it.”

She added that whenever there is money in her bank account it is most likely because she put money in it or it’s from her gigs, “He does give her maybe about R2000 for Uber when Bahumi asks, and there is still nothing wrong he is doing the best he supposedly can as a father. I just want to rebuke the rumours that my daughter is living a liverish life. If you do not know what is going on, please learn to shush.”
