The entertainment industry is busy as the prestigious Metro FM awards are about to take place. Artists are pushing their fans to vote for them with Tyla leading the nominations followed by Kabza De Small and Tyler ICU.
The Metro FM Awards will take place at Mbombela Stadium, in Mpumalanga and will be a two-day event, from the 27th to the 28th of April.
Taking to social media, the Metro FM presenters, LootLove and ProVerb shared the news that they would be hosting the awards.
LootLove who recently returned to radio announced the news with excitement. In her caption, she wrote, “I’m excited to announce I’ll be your host for the @metrofmsa Music Awards alongside @proverbmusic!!! Looking forward to an incredible night celebrating Mzansi’s phenomenal talent in the city of the rising sun, eMbombela! ISUKILE DHIYE!!!The countdown to the 27th of April has begun!”

Many of her followers flooded the comment section with congratulatory messages while others told her she deserved this gig.
ProVerb who recently hosted the Glencore CEO awards took to his Instagram and shared with his followers, “Privileged to announce that I’ll be co-hosting the prestigious METRO FM Music Awards 2024 alongside the incredible @lootlove2 Get ready for a night of incredible music and celebration in Mbombela, Mpumalanga on April 27th.”

He concluded his caption by thanking Metro FM, the sponsors that included the Motsepe Foundation and Mpumalanga Provincial government.
