‘No truth will come out with cameras’ – users on Moses Tembe interview with SABC

Durban business mogul Moses Tembe recently sat down with SABC’s senior broadcast journalist Chriselda Lewis to speak on the death of his daughter Anele Tembe.

With it only being three years since his 22-year-old daughter jumped from the 10th floor of PepperClub Hotel in Cape Town, the father of five however still believes that his daughter did not commit suicide.

The Tembe family donated funds for the renovations of the library and opened it in honour of Anele at her former high school.

After speculation came out that he was involved in the assassination of the rapper in February last year at the Wish restaurant in Durban, Moses said that people who had made those accusations were faceless and that he remains objective in the killing of AKA as they both died tragically, adding that, he loved the rapper.

Internet users felt that Moses was not being honest with what happened with AKA with many feeling that he wanted revenge for the way his daughter died.

One user alluded that Moses was involved despite him refuting those claims.

Another user quoting Moses said, “Seeing your daughter covered in foil on national TV, was a traumatic experience.”

One user stated that the last person to see the deceased is usually named the main suspect in the court of law depending on the circumstances of the death.

Another internet user felt that Moses was in denial of his daughter’s mental health issues that led to her death, given that she had tried to commit suicide before while in Durban and although there are many speculations online of what happened to Anele, people suffering from mental health issues should seek help before it’s too late.
