According to the star, he is not active on the platform and has not used it for several years. His statement comes after the account drew attention amid illegal immigration tensions.
L’vovo Derrango focused on recovery
Speaking to Daily Sun, L’vovo emphasised that his primary focus remains his health and recovery. The award-winning performer has largely stayed out of the spotlight since suffering a stroke in late 2022, an incident that raised concerns among fans across the country.
“I’m still fighting for my recovery, and I do not want anything else to distract me,” he clarified.
He further shared that he is 80% recovered and that all is going well.
Over the past few years, supporters have closely followed his recovery journey, with many celebrating the progress he has made. The star has previously spoken about the challenges of rebuilding his strength and adapting to life after his health setback.
Clarity on hacked X account
The star further provided clarity on a social media account which previously belonged to him before it was hacked. He explained that he no longer has access to that particular account and that he is currently not on X.

He also expressed that he was shocked when people started calling him and asking him why he was posting about illegal immigration, since he was not aware that the page was still active.
“Those who hacked my page are trying to gain popularity using my name. I want to make it clear to everyone: I’m NOT the one posting after it was hacked,” he told Daily Sun.
According to Briefly News, the hacked account, which now carries the name ‘Put South Africa First’, regularly shares content relating to border control, immigration and current affairs.
L’vovo stated that he is not responsible for what is posted on the account, and urged people to refrain from assuming that the views expressed are directly from him.
