Angekebabuye on his collaboration with Xduppy

The musician’s pairing with Xduppy, known for hits such as Bhebha, was not a random choice. He told BONA, “The collaboration was inspired by our previous singles, ASAMBE BABY and LWETSE, and also the synergy we have when we work together.”

Before dropping their seven-track body of work, the duo released BHANOYI, a track featuring the likes of Mluusician, McRamsey, and amapiano legend DJ Maphorisa.

Other notable artists included in the EP include Uncle Waffles and Focalistic, to name a few.

When asked how he managed to get so many influential figures to contribute to his debut EP, the confident former church lead singer, born in Kwa-Thema, Springs, shared:

“It was very easy because the gents are always keen to collaborate, so finding them was easy.”

The message behind AMAROYALE

With a name expressing royalty, the EP definitely showcases the work of kings and queens of the ever-popular music genre.

Apart from BHANOYI, ASAMBE BABY and LWETSE added to the tracklist, the collaborative duo included work titled KUMNANDI UKUBA LA, HEBE, KUYABANDA LA, and SKHOTHANE for fans to enjoy.

For Angekebabuye MC, the message is clear:

“In life, we work and work, and get rewarded with a prize, and for our contribution, we felt having this EP was us awarding our real work.”
