Late actor Mutodi Neshehe’s widow, Leslee Neshehe recently shared a harrowing ordeal that she experienced together with her daughter at Home Affairs in Randburg, Johannesburg.

This follows after her daughter was allegedly manhandled by a female Home Affairs official, who was assisting them while they were applying for their passports.

Taking to her Instagram page to share the horrifying ordeal, Leslee said: “If my husband was alive, he was not going to be treated like that. The official was going to tell him how much she liked him. We felt completely unsafe at Home Affairs,” she said.

According to ZiMoja, Leslee said her first daughter who suffers from high blood pressure explained to the official why she was sweating, however, the official pulled her aggressively and asked her what her problem was, and if she was seeking for special attention.

“We had not eaten the whole day because we thought the process would be fast since we had made an appointment, and because my daughter was sweating profusely, the machine could not pick up her fingerprints. That’s what infuriated the official,” she said.

Speaking to the publication, Leslee said even after she dropped her late husband’s name, the Home Affairs official asked her who cares who she was married to.

“She told me that she didn’t care who my husband was but I know if my husband was still alive, she was going to be star struck and all smiles. He would have defended us,” said Leslee.

Mutodi who was popular for a character he played on SABC2’s Muvhango as Ndalamo Mukwevho, passed away on the 1st of July in 2021, due to Covid-19 related complications.

Leslee relocated to South Africa to be with Mutodi in 2004, the couple have two children together. Leslee told News24 then that they reconciled in 2020 after their separation in 2018.
