More details have come to light after the death of South African-born actor Esta TerBlanche.
Esta, 51, was found dead in the bathroom of her Los Angeles home on Friday. RadarOnline reported that police were called after her assistant went to check on her after not hearing from her.

Her publicist, Lisa Ridrigo, in a social media post, said that the actress had died of natural causes.
DailyMail Online reported that the menagerie of animals surrounded Esta she kept as pets. The publication stated she had three cats, two dogs, and prairie dogs.

Police needed to call in animal rescue to assist at the scene.
According to TMZ, police found no signs of foul play and an autopsy has been performed. No funeral plans have been announced, The South African said.
The blog TV with Tinus stated that Esta had been on a holiday in South Africa a few weeks before her death. She reportedly visited her aunt, brother, and father.
Esta was born in Rustenburg and became well-known after winning Miss Teen SA.
This move allowed her to start a career in the TV industry. She had a stint as a KTV presenter.
However, her role as Bienkie Naude in local soapie Egoli: Place of Gold from 1992 to 1995 catapulted her to fame. Esta left our shores and started her life in the USA.
There she gained prominence for her role as Princess Gillian Andrassy in the US soap opera All My Children.
