Lasizwe addresses rumours of dating Phelo Bala

by Sergio Miller

Renowned media personality and podcaster, Lasizwe Dambuza has denied allegations that he and reality star Phelo Bala were in a romantic relationship.

Earlier this month Lasizwe’s name became the topic of conversation after Mzimase “Mzi” Mtyide, whose ex-boyfriend Moshe Ndiki was previously married to Phelo, held an Instagram Live chat in which he shared some surprising revelations he heard from Moshe concerning Phelo and Lasizwe.

Mzi opened up about how Moshe revealed that Phelo had previously stayed over at Lasizwe’s house for a week – insinuating that the two might possibly be in a romantic relationship.

Upon coming across the rumours, the Awkward Dates host later shared his version of events.

In a recent episode of Drink or Tell the Truth, Lasizwe was asked whether he and Phelo had really spent a week together at his home. In response to the question, he said:

“I saw that video, I saw what happened and I was like, why am I in it? Also, if Phelo had to wink in my direction, why not? Because he’s single. At the time what happened was the broer was hitting me up and I’m like, OK, what’s happening?”

“I didn’t do anything with him. He’s never slept over at my house, as they say. Would I mind for him to sleep over? Why not? That’s my truth.”

Meanwhile, he later joked that if Phelo was available and ready to be in a relationship he would not mind.
