Musician Joao da Fonseca better known as J’Something opens up about why his restaurant Artistry makes him happy.

The Mi Casa singer recently launched his restaurant, which has since gone on to win a Luxe Restaurant Award for Lifestyle Restaurant Of The Year.

The singer also hosted his own reality TV show titled Something’s Cooking.

Taking to Instagram page the Mi Casa singer said:

“I won’t lie man Artistry really makes me happy. It hasn’t got a lot to do with the fact that it’s my joint or anything, but more the energy the place has, the people that are coming, the joy in the air … I feel so at home and easy. So many people come to me and tell me what a dope place it is and the truth is it all comes down TO THE PEOPLE! The @artistryjhb team, the guests, the invited artists and lastly the magic of the moment!”

He also thanked the people who continuously shows support to his business.

“Feel really thankful for these moments we sharing. Thankful that people are showing up … It’s so scary creating … it’s a vulnerable space to be in with this thrill of the unknown. There’s this element of trust that’s involved that’s very hard to explain but I just wanted you all to know I’m really grateful! I remember so clearly being there when there was nothing and imagining all this sh%^ unfold and truth be told it has all completely been so much more than I expected!”
