Internet reacts to Phelo Bala’s behaviour on reality show

Mzansi’s most-loved family is back but it seems that the youngest of the bunch, Phelo Bala, continues to remain under public scrutiny for his behaviour towards his family.

Mzansi Magic’s reality show, The Bala Family which features the music trio Loyiso, Phelo, Zwai, and their older sister Pinkie alongside Mama V and Jennifer Bala captures viewers’ attention as the family brings their authenticity and blends their differences on reality TV.

Phelo, best known for being the youngest of siblings has since displayed a more problematic character on the show as his siblings fight for him to stop consuming alcohol and take care of himself.

Some internet users feel that he should get over his previous relationship with TV personality Moshe Ndiki, which ended in divorce in 2022 due to what Moshe cited as constant violent behaviour from Phelo when he was allegedly under the influence.

Speaking on the abuse allegations against his ex-husband at the time, Moshe said, “These are matters of a private nature and I have been advised because there are pending court proceedings I should not comment on. The most I am prepared to state at present is that I have in no way abused Phelo and am prepared to follow the legal processes to prove this fact.”

Many X (formerly known as Twitter) shared their thoughts on Phelo’s behaviour saying:

Loyiso and Jen don’t call Phelo to order. I feel Jen can accept any behavior from Phelo just to spite Zwai and Pinky.
Zwai is the only one who make an effort to call him to order. Phelo is on a self destructive mode. He needs help ASAP #TheBalaFamily pic.twitter.com/1DaEOLwOqN

#TheBalaFamily When Phelo said he dreams about Zwai and wakes with an anxiety attack ??? Bhut Zwai needs to look at how he interacts with Phelo. Giving someone anxiety can never be a good thing
