‘I am the Bazozwa Queen’ – Thandeka reflects on Big Brother Mzansi experience

Big Brother Mzansi: Bazozwa runner-up Thandeka Tshabalala recently opened up about her stay in the Big Brother Mzansi house, citing that she remains the Queen of Bazozwa.

In an interview with 10 Minutes With the Star, Thandeka, who was fondly known as the Italian Queen, shared that she is the Queen of this season. She also added that Liyema ‘Liema’ Pantsi, who was one of the returning housemates and subsequently won the season, was the Queen of her previous season, S’yamosha.

Speaking on the above mentioned platform, she shared that she had amazing and powerful moments in the house, further revealing that she had only one regret for the duration of her stay. She described her experience as a human and psychological tester.

“It was what I had said to Illano, we have reconciled, spoken about it and I apologised; and we are yet to have another conversation, a proper one in private and more apologies. It doesn’t matter even if I was provoked, I should not have said that. Nobody made me say anything, at that moment and time I wanted to say that, it doesn’t make it the right thing,” she said.

When asked about Liema’s win, she said she is happy for her, but they are from different seasons.

“She is a redemption, she gave up on herself last time. I am a riser regardless of how I felt, I didn’t think I had so much love but I stayed it out, because I said ‘because I’m in here it means clearly there is someone who wants me to be me, because they know that I won’t stop being me’. If you don’t want me, then you gonna have to kick me out.

“So I’m the Bazozwa Queen and I am happy for her, girl I am happy for you; but you are from S’yamosha and I’m the Queen of Bazozwa,” said Thandeka.
