Durban July: Artist lineup finally revealed

by Sergio Miller

As the days draw closer towards the eagerly awaited annual horse racing event, the Durban July, organisers of the occasion have managed to ensure that they deliver on top-class entertainment.

The event is considered to be one of the country’s most premium horse racing events, attracting investors, sportsmen and women as well as some of the country’s biggest stars in the world of entertainment and fashion, with most keen to put their best foot forward and fully embody the theme.

This year will be no different, as the theme “Marvels of Mzansi” looks to put a shining light on many of the things we can pride ourselves on as a nation.

Earlier this year, Hollywoodbets Brand and Communications Manager, Devin Heffer, said:

“It celebrates our country’s rich heritage, diversity, and extraordinary achievements, all set against the vibrant energy of Durban. Last year, the event welcomed close to 40,000 attendees and contributed an incredible R717 million to the city’s GDP, reinforcing its status as a major driver of tourism and economic growth. On the 5th of July, Hollywoodbets Greyville will once again be the heartbeat of the nation, as we come together to showcase the true marvels of Mzansi.”

Meanwhile, the studded lineup of artists set to take the stage by storm has recently been revealed.

Singer Zolani Mahola looks to set the tone for the day by offering her rendition of the South African National anthem, while spectators can also look forward to performances by Lira, Good Luck, Mafikizolo, Hot Water, Lee Cole and many more.
