It appears Dr Musa Mthombeni is not beating the “Joburg doctor wins R32m Powerball jackpot” allegations anytime soon, as he and his wife former Miss SA Liesl Laurie-Mthombeni have jetted off on yet another vacation.
The couple have become notorious for their trips, be they local or international, and their latest outing is in celebration of their third wedding anniversary. They are the real definition of couple goals, as they recently treated the doctor’s mother to a surprise birthday party.

In a joint post on Instagram, the couple explained the significance of the month of August in the Liesl-Mthombeni household. The post included a fun clip of the couple showing their passports at the airport, ready for their next destination.
“August in the Mthombeni household is anniversary month so that means we’re off to do “ishowoff” and “kom kyk” in foreign lands. Before you say what you’re about to say, remember that this is technically our first international trip in 2024 semester 2. I just want to put things into perspective…With that said, let’s go celebrate 3 years married!”

The couple recently returned from a trip around Europe, specifically Munich, Germany as well as Amsterdam, Netherlands. This was to celebrate what they coined #InternationalLieslDay, and the couple ensured to share as much as possible with their followers and supporters.
Their content has been warming many hearts, and the couple has established themselves as a fan favourite.
