The world’s biggest Afrobeats festival is returning next year with an iconic line-up. The international cultural celebration of the African diaspora, Afro Nation, has recently announced its phase one line-up for next year’s festival.

The headliners
The biggest names in Afrobeats are set to headline the event: Afropop sensation Rema and Afrobeats legend Davido will be headlining alongside the prince of Rumba, Fally Ipupa, a Congolese singer and dancer.
The headliners continue Nigeria’s dominant run at one of the world’s biggest celebrations of Afrobeats and Amapiano, Pulse Nigeria reports.
The lit stage
The publication adds that the first wave has confirmed roughly 30 artists. Aside from the headliners, the stage features prominent names in the Black diaspora, like dancehall icon Shanseea, Nigerian singer Omah Lay, and British-Nigerian singer Odeal.
Reggae artist Valliant and French singer Bamby will also join the festivities alongside upcoming artist MiiMii KDS and Tanzanian singer Rayvanny.
The after-party is nothing short of star-studded, featuring the live project, South Gidi, from DJ Tunez and DJ Maphorisa, featuring Wizkid and Mavo, to close out the final night.

Piano People Stage
The Piano People Stage is led by Amapiano pioneer Kabza De Small and DJing duo Tarryn Reid and Clairise Hefke, known as TxC, with special guest Dlala Thukzin.
The stage will also feature Amapiano stars like Young Stunna and Zee Nxumalo, alongside Thatohatsi, 031Choppa, 2woBunnies, Benzo, Uncool MC, W4DE, Xduppy, B2B, and Al Xapo.
Afro Nation’s 7th edition
The annual three-day festival will host its seventh edition. Since it launched in 2019, the festival has grown in celebrating music across the African diaspora. The festival, usually held in July, will be a month early this year, from 9 to 11 June 2027.
On the sands of Praia da Rocha, a beach in Portimão, Portugal, Afrobeat fanatics can expect cultural immersion on various stages, parties, food, and fashion.
