After hosting a beautiful wedding ceremony in 2022, actress and model Asavela Mqokiyana has hinted, in a humourous manner via her social media that she and Vuyisa Mqokiyana have finalised their divorce.

Asavela and Vuyisa’s relationship and consequently their marriage has been a controversial one since the news broke that Vuyisa was known to be married to Chuma Mjekula. After keeping her partner private for years while they were together, she revealed via her social media that she had married into the Mqokiyana family.

Recently, the ‘Isibaya’ actress took to her social media to post a cryptic message, many believe alluding to her divorce as she posed in front of the Kwa-Zulu Natal division of the High Court. She posted a series of these images and included one last slide with a viral conversation where one party says to the other “Asime dali, thanks nge experience,” which translates to ‘let’s end things darling, thank you for the experience), which users believe is directed to her ex-husband.

“Woof woof It has been lovely enkosi (thank you),” she captioned the post.

Popular X(formerly Twitter) user, @Mlu_N7 added to the plot by revealing that contrary to popular belief, it is Vuyisa who filed for divorce and not Asavela, as the public has been made to believe.

Imagine someone cheats on, and that person also institutes divorce proceedings

The plaintiff is usually the person who initiates the divorce process.
