A private pregnancy

While celebrities often share pregnancy journeys publicly, Shekhinah appears to have kept this chapter of her life largely away from the spotlight.

Her latest post therefore marked a significant reveal, introducing fans to a side of her life that she had chosen to keep private.

Rather than making a lengthy announcement, the singer let the intimate photographs and emotional message speak for themselves.

Her words also highlighted the gratitude she feels for becoming a mother, with a reference to God’s grace and her daughter being “more precious” than they could have asked for.

The surprise announcement marks a new chapter for the award-winning singer, who has built a successful career with hits including Thirsty, Suited and Risk.

Although Shekhinah has generally kept her personal life away from the public eye, her latest post offered fans a rare glimpse into her journey to motherhood.

The three-month milestone has now become the occasion for her first public pregnancy and motherhood reveal, with fans celebrating the singer’s joyful news alongside her.
