In the month of February known to be the month of love, it is justifiable to binge watch romantic comedies or movies with the theme of romance, as some couples honour Valentine’s Day.

Online streaming platforms such as Netflix and Showmax usually release films that tell the story of love, to convey a message or to entertain its audience.

Whether you are watching alone, with friends, as a couple or with family; romantic films with characteristics of humour, witty dialogue or satire can keep you glued to your screen, as they feature themes of love at first sight, forbidden love, second chances or friends to lovers.

This film will air on Valentines Day, it follows a former beauty queen who lost her title after exposing a scandal. As she writes a tell-all book, she navigates a complicated love life, filled with romance, betrayal and redemption.
