All things movies with actress Petronella Tshuma

1.My love for people inspires my acting. I love them, and enjoy sharing their stories; that is why I am an actress. Real life stories fascinate me, and I enjoy diving into a character and walking in people’s shoes together with the viewers.

 2. There are many reasons why people should watch Hatchet Hour. Firstly, South Africa produces great films, and we need to show more support for local work. It is also an amazing film with two female leads, directed by Judy Naidoo. The story line is intense and has fascinating layers that unravel unexpected twists. I don’t want to give away too much, but the film has murder and mystery.

 3. I’m looking forward to doing more films, including international ones. Taking part in films has been interesting and I have enjoyed it. One day, I want to walk on the red carpet with cameras flashing at the premier of a big international film. That is the image I keep seeing in my dreams.

 4. I was once told to stop acting because I was not good enough. Acting is my first love, so when I was told to stop, I was shattered. Looking back, I am glad that I did not listen to that advice because I love acting.

The film is already in our local cinemas, check out the trailer here.
