The unforgettable announcement

Natasha revealed that the moment she found out she was pregnant in October 2025 was bittersweet. “Enrico was on a hunting trip for three days before I could tell him, and joh, it was so hard not to just pick up the phone and tell him!🤣😭,” she wrote on Instagram.

She went on to share a heart-melting video showing the preparations she made for the announcement: balloons, baby shoes, a romper reading “Baba Vermaak”, a matching hat, and a positive pregnancy test. The post captured the excitement, patience, and love that went into creating the perfect reveal for her husband.

“At the time, no one knew except my sister. My husband is gonna find out in one hour that I’m pregnant. Then we need to tell my mom,” she said in the video, giving fans a glimpse into the build-up before the big moment.

Though she hasn’t yet shared Enrico’s reaction, Natasha teased in the comments that the highly anticipated video will be revealed soon, leaving followers eagerly waiting.

Sharing the journey, not just the news

Since announcing her pregnancy, Natasha has been giving fans an unfiltered look into life as a first-time mom. From weight changes to hospital bag tips, attending delivery and antenatal classes with Enrico, and sharing advice for new parents, she’s built a relatable narrative for moms-to-be across South Africa.

She even created an Instagram highlight packed with recommendations, product insights, and personal experiences for expecting mothers. Her practical advice encourages all new moms to do thorough research, noting that “every little bit of information will help navigate and possibly ease your pregnancy.”

Fans and cultural resonance

Natasha’s openness about her journey has struck a chord with her followers. Many South Africans expressed joy and excitement over the reveal, praising her ability to make personal experiences feel intimate and relatable. The way she blends humour, honesty, and emotion has cemented her as a relatable figure for women navigating pregnancy for the first time.

In a country where celebrity pregnancies often stay under wraps until much later, Natasha’s decision to share these moments — from early discovery to everyday preparation, feels refreshingly authentic. It also shines a light on the importance of documenting these milestones, not just for fans but for family memories.

With the due date drawing closer, Natasha continues to share her journey in real-time, offering advice, entertainment, and heartfelt moments. As she prepares to welcome her baby girl, fans eagerly await more updates, especially the moment Enrico finally saw the announcement.

Natasha Vermaak’s story reminds South Africans that behind the glitz of media and public life, these personal, tender milestones remain universal, the joy of new beginnings, the excitement of parenthood, and the little surprises that make life unforgettable.
