Secateurs are one of those tools that gardeners reach for all year round. They’re essential for plant care, so it’s no wonder garden owners love secateurs that are long-lasting, powerful, and comfortable to use. The new GARDENA secateurs and loppers come with innovative PowerCoating on the blades, making cutting tasks a breeze.
GARDENA proudly launches seven different secateur models, in our new range of secateurs, three new loppers and two new high branch pruners in the StarCut range. These new models are made from up to 45% recycled material whilst still maintaining the 25 year warranty. Let’s dive deeper into the benefits offered by each cutting tool.
Powerful, precise cutting
The GARDENA secateurs and loppers are real powerhouses! Depending on the secateur model, they can cleanly cut branches with a diameter of 20 to 24 millimeters. Loppers can cut up to 45 mm. The precision-ground blades are made of high-quality steel from an exclusive alloy, and they’re coated with our special PowerCoating. This coating creates a smoother surface, reduces friction, and protects the blades against corrosion and resin. Plus, it makes it easier to remove plant residues.
Comfort is key
Secateurs and Lopper should not only cut accurately but also be comfortable to hold. That’s why all GARDENA cutting tools are designed with ergonomically shaped handles for effortless use. They enable fatigue-free working, even during demanding gardening tasks. Depending on the model, you can adjust the cutting or grip width for different cut sizes and hand sizes.. A buffer between the handles also protects your wrist, and the single-handed safety lock makes it easy to close and store the tool after use.
Built to last
The fibreglass-reinforced handles are particularly robust, with more than 45 percent recycled plastic, depending on the model. An added feature on the new GARDENA secateurs is that it can be fully dismantled for easy cleaning and maintenance, extending their lifespan.
High Branch Pruning
Added to the high branch StarCut pruning range are two new tools from GARDENA, the Telescopic Pro-L StarCut reaching up to 6.5 metres from the ground and the StarCut Pro-L set with the added Cutting Saw. What makes these tools special are the blades made of quality steel and supported by metal gears provide up to 12 times more cutting power.
DID YOU KNOW?
The bypass cutting tools are perfect for making precise and clean cuts on young shoots and fresh wood, while the anvil cutting principle are great for tackling woody and dry branches and twigs.
