Proverb Talks Grooming

by Keletso Modisakeng

MC, hip hop artist and TV presenter Tebogo Thekisho, better known as Proverb, lists the 5 essentials every man needs.

Proverb-tebogoCut and clean

I think men should shave their hair – it looks neater. The hair, beard and all unwanted hairs need to go to achieve a well-groomed look. This doesn’t work for everyone but neatness goes a long way. If you are going to grow your hair and beard, maintain it and keep it neat. The rugged look doesn’t look work anymore.

Smell good

Take time to find a cologne and deodorant that suits you best. Our skins react differently to scents, and that’s why what works for you might not work for your friend. If you are a physical person, get a cologne that can keep up with your lifestyle and day-to-day activities.

Your woman

Always make sure your woman looks good because that always complements your own look. A woman that takes time and puts effort always rubs off onto you, and this will keep you motivated to look your best too.

Proverb-(3)Skin regime

Gone are the days when men use to “wash-and-go”. Every man needs to take time to get know their skin, what it needs, what you need to get rid of so you can buy the correct products for it. I had a lot of acne growing up, and that led to me always finding what works for my skin to keep it healthy.

Health

Your looks start from the inside and always reflect out. Taking care of your health will help you look and feel great.
