She talked about her marriage to Prince Masuku and her seemingly strained relationship with Nompumelelo ‘Mpumi’ Sobopha.

Esethu Seku on her relationship with Prince Masuku

Sitting down with Lungelo KM on the Engineer Your Life podcast, Esethu shared some insight on her relationship with Prince, acknowledging the tumultuous nature of their connection, as she points out that she doesn’t understand their relationship while claiming they are constantly drawn to each other.

“Uhm, I don’t know what it is, but I think me and Prince, we are constantly like being drawn towards each other. We don’t get along certain moments; we get along other moments,” she states.

She then revealed that they actually weren’t officially together during the shooting of the reunion and were there to “save face.”

“The relationship, it is… it is… I don’t know where we’re going to be three months from now or two days from now. I really can’t say. Same as the reunion because, in the reunion episode, while we were filming, we were not together. But I think we were trying to, you know, save face, to be like, you know what, let’s keep up appearances.”

The couple is back together

However, she shared that they are back together. Even though she doesn’t know where much of their issues stem from.
“So now we’re back together, and I don’t know what the issues are. I’m not sure what the issues are with him and me being together, but I just want people to know that people don’t come with zero flaws, guys. We all come with flaws, you know.”

Esethu on Nompumelelo

The reality TV star reflected on her friendship with Nompumelelo, too, sharing that for now she simply wishes her the best. She expressed how she didn’t appreciate her allegedly fake friendship, stating:

“So, Mpumi constantly knocks on my door to say, ‘Are you okay? I’m just checking on you.’ She’s giving me hugs. She’s making it seem like we are such good friends. Like, she’s there for me. Yeah. Then I see that stuff on a list. I’m like, ‘Okay.’ So, you were collecting information. I didn’t like that.”
