The footage shows the woman saying she wants her money, while the man fumbles in his wallet and replies that she should go, which provoked a flood of comments that mixed humour with sympathy and criticism.

One user wrote: ‘Give her money, you wan knack free without paying!’ and others argued the exchange underlined economic anxieties and migration tensions.
