Crocs brought the heat this winter with their latest Cozy event—a bold celebration of comfort, creativity and individuality—held at the iconic Lemkus Exchange in Cape Town on the 27th of June. The event marked the launch of the brand’s fuzz-lined Classic Crocs Winter Collection, and what better way to honour the season than with the addition of Dee Koala to the Cozy Girl Crew.
Dee Koala, an award-winning South African rapper, has made her mark on the local rap scene with her boastful and rigorous Xhosa bars that vividly capture the spirit of her hometown, Khayelitsha, and the daily realities faced by its people. Known for her authenticity and fearless expression, Dee Koala brought her unique energy to the event—not only delivering a show-stopping performance but doing so in true Cozy Girl style, dressed to impress in an outfit styled around the iconic fuzz-lined Classic Crocs.
The event brought together some of South Africa’s most influential names in fashion and media for a one-of-a-kind experience that fully embraced the fuzzy, feel-good vibes Crocs is known for. With a reputation for blurring the lines between fashion and self-expression, Crocs transformed Lemkus Exchange into a cosy content haven. Faux fur photo moments, bold winter styling, and playful textures turned every corner into a social media-ready scene.
Guests were invited to unleash their creativity at a tufting station, crafting textured art inspired by the Crocs aesthetic, and visited the always-popular Jibbitz™ station to customise their own pair of fuzz-lined Classic Crocs. From charms to colour combos, it was all about entering the cosy season with a personal touch and bold flair.
With warm hues, tactile backdrops, and a fuzzy-all-over decor concept that wrapped guests in comfort, the Crocs Cozy event was more than a celebration—it was a statement: comfort is always in style. And with Dee Koala now part of the Cozy Girl Crew, there’s no doubt that this winter belongs to the bold, the creative, and the unapologetically cosy.
