1. I am a news anchor for Africa News Network7 (ANN7). I love and enjoy my job because I’ve always wanted to work in the television industry. I’m glad that

I play a role in keeping the country informed about the latest news that impacts their lives. I also enjoy interviewing famous people and asking questions that their fans want answers to.

2. My job comes with exciting challenges. I enjoy the pressure that comes with presenting the news live. The unpredictable world of live television keeps me on my toes, and I’ve learnt to thrive by remaining calm. I still get nervous before I go live on air, but I’ve learnt to take a deep breath and focus on the task at hand.

3. I’m also a journalist, MC and voice-over artist. Being a news anchor has opened other opportunities for me within the media industry. I now juggle the demands of my career by sticking to a strict schedule.

4. It is important to be passionate about your job. Working on live television is not easy; there will be times when you want to quit because of the pressure. But, passion and hard work will help you pull through.

Catch her presenting live bulletins on ANN7 at 12pm every week day.
