Kaizer Chiefs’ next outing for the Betway Premiership has been moved to Gqeberha and brought forward one day to Easter Monday.

The match, which is against Orbit College, has been moved from the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace at Phokeng, to the Eastern Cape’s Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, as announced by the Premier Soccer League

Originally scheduled for Tuesday, April 7, the match is now set to take place on April 6 at 3 PM.

On the same day, the clash between AmaZulu and Sekhukhune United at the Princess Magogo Stadium in KwaMashu has been brought forward to a 5:30 pm kick-off, having originally been scheduled to start at 7:30 pm.

There is a three-point difference between third-placed AmaZulu and Sekhukhune, who sit in sixth place. Kaizer Chiefs are sitting in fourth position with only one point behind AmaZulu. Orbit College is facing relegation in their debut season as they are struggling to set foot on the log table.

“The decision to move the game was made at the request of the home team, Orbit College, due to the unavailability of the Royal Bafokeng Stadium and to better accommodate the expected crowd. Ticketing information will be shared in due course,” stated the PSL.

As the race for the title continues, six other league games will be played on Tuesday, April 7.
