Spiced chicken wings with chakalaka

Great for parties, lunch or dinner, these spicy chicken wings are sure to be a hit!

EASY  Prep and cooking time: 45 mins

12 chicken wings
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
2 teaspoons ground ginger
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Salt to taste
250g tin Koo Chakalaka Mild & Spicy

1.    Separate the forearm, upper arm and wing tip, then save the wing tip to make stock at a later stage.
2.    Rinse the chicken pieces under cold running water and drain. Dry out completely with paper towels.
3.    Place the pieces in a large mixing bowl and sprinkle with garlic, ginger, cayenne pepper, nutmeg and salt. Mix well to combine and marinade for about 30 minutes. Preheat grill.
4.    Place wings on a baking tray lined with Spray and Cook. Grill until the juices run clear when pierced with a fork, turning them once. Serve while hot, topped with chakalaka.
