We bore witness to some of the best weddings we’ve seen in a while this year. Celebs shared their most precious moments with us and we loved every single minute of it. To mark those special moments, here is a look at some of our fave weddings of 2017.
1. Enhle Mbali Maphumulo and Black Coffee
The couple had their white wedding seven years after their traditional wedding. The lavish ceremony was held at Sun City and had a star-studded guest list including Julius Malema, Khanyi Dhlomo and Rami Chuene.
2. Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian
Serena and Alexis married in November, a few months after the birth of their first child. They held their ceremony in New Orleans with guests including Beyonce, Ciara and Lala.
3. Minnie Dlamini and Quinton Jones
Minnie Dlamini announced the news of her engagement to television producer Quinton Jones in December 2016. Less than a year later, we witnessed their incredible journey through their docu-series Minnie Dlamini: Becoming Mrs Jones.
4. Gucci Mane and Keyshia Ka’oir
Gucci Mane and Keyshia married in an opulent ceremony that cost a reported $2 million. The road to the altar was documented on their BET reality show The Mane Event.
5. Fix Moeti and Orrock Robertson
Fix Moeti got married to Orrock Robertson earlier this year. The gorgeous ceremony took place on her husband’s farm in Barkly East in the Eastern Cape and the dress code was Farm Chic.
6. Jordin Sparks and Dana Isaiah
Jordin and Dana revealed that they eloped in July and are expecting their first child together in an exclusive interview with People Magazine. Their whirlwind romance is all thanks to their parents who introduced them.
7. Linda Mtoba and Steven Meyer
Actress Linda Mtoba married her wealthy husband Steven Meyer earlier this year. Pictures of the traditional wedding were shared on her social media but she kept the white wedding a secret.
