Jeremy Jackson has revealed that is 88 – year- old father Joe is dying.

According to IOL, Joe suffers from diabetes and is believed to have a form of dementia; he also suffered a stroke in Brazing in 2015 which left him temporarily blind.
UK news source The Daily Mail has reported that Joe’s health took a turn for the worse earlier this week and his family has been barred from seeing him, including his wife Katherine and daughter Rebbie.
Daily Mail also reported that the Jacksons had an emergency family meeting and made desperate please to Joe’s manager, Charles Coupet, to grant them access to see their father, and grandfather. Despite Joe giving verbal instruction that he didn’t want visitors on family members to see him or his medical records.
It has also been revealed that Katherine, daughters Rebbie and Joh’Vonnie and granddaughter Yashi Brown, did visit with the patriarch in Las Vegas, Nevada on Tuesday, but they struggled to get medical information and access to Joe.
“’No one knew what was going on – we shouldn’t have to beg, plead, and argue to see our own father, especially at a time like this. We were not being told where he was and couldn’t get the full picture. Even from the doctor. My mother was worried sick,” Jermain told the newspaper.
Joe Jackson has been revered in the entertainment industry for managing his sons who formed the Jackson 5 who achieved immense musical success.
Joe’s management style was put to question, however, when it was revealed that he had been abusive towards his sons, which he said numerous times (including in a 2010 Oprah Winfrey interview) that he didn’t regret.
