Local celebs join Global Citizen as Advocates

Global Citizen as Advocates

Local celebs have joined the Global Citizen Festival as the event’s advocates to support the fight against poverty. They include Nandi Madida, Somizi, Pearl Thusi, Zakes Bantwini and Lucas Radebe. Trevor Noah and David Chappelle have also been announced as hosts alongside Nomzamo Mbatha for the event taking place on 2 December.

The stars expressed their excitement at being part of the event which celebrates the centenary year of Nelson Mandela, honouring his legacy in the fight to end extreme poverty.
