Castle Heritage Braai Day on Table Mountain

Celebrate Heritage Day at one of the New7Wonders of Nature. The Table Mountain Aerial Cableway, in partnership with Castle Lager, is hosting A Taste of Heritage, a summit experience offering sweeping city views alongside classic South African hospitality.
Attendees can enjoy a complimentary boerewors roll paired with a cold Castle Lager beer or soft drink with their cableway experience.
WOMAD Heritage finale

World of Music, Arts and Dance (WOMAD) brings its international cultural showcase to a grand finale at the V&A Waterfront.
The highlight of the afternoon is the Cajoneada Drumming & Dance Experience, featuring direct collaborations between Spanish and South African performers. Directed by Spain’s Pepe Zapata alongside vocals, guitar, and cajón by Vicente Gelo, the performance pairs with South Africa’s Thandi Swartbooi and 30 Cape Flats drummers, with special appearances by Blaq Sakayi, Mihlali Mayeza, and Arashkha from Réunion Island.

Sea Point’s Regent Road will come alive with 16 live bands, outdoor bars, food stalls, and street celebrations.
The Smirnoff Mojo Market Heritage Day Street Fest boasts a stacked lineup of South African musical talent, headlined by Bongeziwe Mabandla, Jack Parow, Dwson, and Kujenga. Additional performances include Nomadic Orchestra, Bang Bang Music, Congo Cowboys, Mila Smith, and Thandeka Dladla.

Free Heritage Day admission at Zeitz MOCAA
