The second suspect in the DJ Warras murder case, Armindo Joaquim Pacula, made his first appearance at the Johannesburg Magistrates Court yesterday.
Shortly after DJ Warras was murdered, the police revealed that there were three men involved, with one posing as a security guard that wore uniform.
The police further shared that he was shot by a short man who had dreadlocks. In the CCTV footage that was widely shared on social media platforms, Armindo was identified as the man who had dreadlocks.
SABC News reported that Armindo was promised R25 000 for the hit, while he received R7000. The publication also reported that it’s also believed that Armindo made a confession over the weekend.
While Armindo, who is accused of shooting DJ Warras, did not have dreadlocks in court, the police have confirmed that they found dreadlocks in the shack where he was found upon his arrest. They also found the bag in which the gun which killed Dj Warras was allegedly concealed. However, the gun has not yet been found.
