Tips for the girlies who want to shoot their shot

It takes a lot of vulnerability since there are only two possible outcomes when you take your shot, and you must be ready for either one. It’s still a major thing for those of us who are a bit hesitant or simply haven’t met someone whom you really like because there are many women out there who feel very comfortable taking their shot.

Freda Nomo, a content creator and psychotherapist gave some advice on how to make your case, what to think about, and how to make your case again after being rejected.

Here are a few thing to consider first :

Emotional availability – As dating demands a lot of energy, it’s critical to consider whether you’re genuinely prepared to date. It’s also important to consider your “why” — are you seeking for a relationship or something casual?

Interest – Has your prospective partner expressed an interest in you? Observe their demeanor and whether they make eye contact with you.

Timing – Time is crucial while attempting to hit your short. It’s time to consider your approach if there is interest and good communication. Would you sneak in the DMs or will you approach them directly?

Be authentic – Be yourself and present your true self. Avoid attempting to be someone you are not.

Time is crucial. Consider how you’ll approach your desired partner and express your interest in them as well. Consider the obvious aspects, including whether they respond to your messages. Do they exchange messages consistently? You’ve succeeded if they show a sincere interest in you as a person and want to spend more time with you.

Dating entails rejection. A possible match might not always be ready to date; perhaps they are already committed to someone else or want to put their own needs first. If they say no, that is not a sign that you should strive to change their views. Keep everything going.
