The TikTok community found themselves emotional after a woman shared how a man helped her study further after giving her a R30k tip.

TikTok content creator @ngobamakhosimcusi reposted a story found on Facebook of a woman thanking the man who made her dreams possible. According to this post, in 2016 a woman named Sinethemba Zamandosi Cele was working at a Durban nightclub as a waitress when she met a man who tipped her R30k for her to go to university.

She further explained that upon giving her the money, the man told her she was too young to work at nightclubs. After receiving this money, Sinethemba enrolled at the University of Limpopo for a Bachelor of Agriculture Management course which she completed in 2020.

Sinethemba’s dedication to wanting to finish school despite her financial struggles in the past is what made the internet users emotional as the unnamed man was able to help her without wanting anything in return.

Many TikTok users took to the comment section to applaud the woman for using the money for her education instead of buying materialistic things.

One user commented: “Let’s celebrate the girl who understood the assignment and did not go buy clothes and groove! Well done Ms and Mr!”

Another user said: “Salute, he didn’t post giving her that R30k, she is the one who posted him.”

One TikTok user said: “To God be the glory I am happy and proud of her for the fact that she got the degree and her life is moving forward that’s all I asked for that’s good enough for me.”
