
Internet users react to a woman sharing how her partner got married during the long weekend – while she was under the impression that he was at a funeral.
Social media platforms have now become a space for people to share their experiences, this particular story shared by Facebook user Laura Phillips made a lot of internet users question her partner’s integrity as well as show her sympathy given that it happened without her knowledge.
According to the post, which was later shared on TikTok, Laura claims that her boyfriend told her that he was going to a relative’s funeral. To her surprise she found out that he was getting married. She also shared pictures of her partner, Moche Lekubu, with the caption, “Guys please help me congratulate my partner @Moche Lekubu and @Cathy Teane who were getting married today, while I was under the impression that bro was mourning and not available for the weekend.”

Many TikTok users took the comment section to console the creator but questioned why she never checked her partner’s phone.
One user commented: “Akere you decided to be an understanding girlfriend and not go through his phone. Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Lekubu.”
Another user said, “That time Laura gave her partner ‘condolence money’ to help with the funeral.”
Another user shared a similar experience of how in 2003 her partner got married to someone else and after his wife died, he came running back.
