Why South Africans are migrating to Australia?

by Adrian Brown
South Africans migrating to Australia

South Africans are so eager to migrate to Australia through the quickest and easiest routes that they hinder themselves from going through the visa process successfully.

One of the biggest mistakes South Africans make is not knowing where they will live and work when migrating to Australia. Taking the easy way to apply for a visa hoping to get lucky.

However it is understandable with the panic state that each South African is facing wanting to migrate.

Many are considering leaving the country because of load shedding, and a dramatic increase in the cost of  living.

South Africans are seeking better education, opportunity and primarily a safer life, also find the Australian culture, language and climate compatible to theirs.

Others leave to seek career progression and enhancement where their passion and profession may not provided in South Africa.

Australia unemployment figure stands at 6.8%. This figure is mostly made up by the ageing population, those unable to work and children under the age of 18  who are not allowed to work. With a healthy growing economy with endless job opportunities for all.

Now, compare that to the unemployment rate of South Africa that is floating above 30.1%.

This means when one job hunts in Australia they are most likely to get a job, unlike South Africa where you have to take whatever is available or  risk  being unemployed.

Think of whatever that may annoy you, like potholes not being fixed, refuse not being removed, taking years to repair pipes.

Well, without fail you do not see your taxes going to waste. Australian government never stops investing in their infrastructure .

Australia boasts one of the World’s most advanced and complete infrastructures which includes top-quality roadways, top international standard public transport like trains and busses, some of the World’s largest and best-equipped state hospitals, schools, and universities.

Australia is a laid back and friendly community but with a lot of structure and self-discipline. Citizens act maturely; respecting laws and each other which naturally means far less crime and an overall safe more peaceful existence.
