A disturbing video shared by @MDNnews on X (formerly known as Twitter)  has gone viral, showing an Uber/Bolt driver being brutally assaulted and robbed by passengers.

The footage reveals a planned attack, starting with a front-seat passenger pulling the handbrake, causing the vehicle to come to a sudden stop.

As the driver tried to come to terms with what was happening, the passengers in the back seat began beating him. One of the attackers then exited the car, opened the driver’s door and sprayed him with pepper spray, leaving him incapacitated. The robbers proceeded to steal some of the driver’s belongings, including his phone before fleeing the scene.
