In a chilling video that shook people TikTok user @asandaluvuyo_rsa, real name Asanda Msomi, recounts a terrifying ordeal that began with a routine Bolt ride.

Asanda had requested a ride from his residence to the KZN university, but the journey quickly took a sinister turn.

As he sat in the back of the car, Asanda noticed that the driver was taking an unfamiliar route. Instead of heading toward the university, they were driving to a certain location. Upon arriving in Mayville in a shack(house/Mkhukhu), Asanda spotted four to five men who would soon turn his life upside down.

“They took me to a shack,” Asanda explained. Inside, he was violently pushed onto a bed by some of the men, who threatened him not to scream. In a horrifying act, they began to search his pockets, confiscating his phone after blindfolding him with a pillow and warning him not to look.

While blindfolded, one of the guys demanded his bank PIN. “I gave it to them, not knowing what they would do,” Asanda said, fearing for his life. They continued to interrogate him, asking various questions, including which university he attended.

In a further humiliation, one of the men ordered Asanda to undress. He complied and to his shock, they recorded a video of him while instructing him on what to say. “They told me they now have a video of me naked and would first send it to my mother,” he recounted. When asked whether his mother knew about his sexuality, Asanda replied that she did not. “They said I had a reason to send them money,” he said.

Asanda was held captive for about two to three hours, during which the men attempted to access his iCloud account. He described them as if they were criminals, used to robbing people without hesitation.

Throughout the ordeal, they questioned him about his sexuality, asking why he did not like girls and asserting that he would “die without having a child.”

In his video, he issued a warning to others: “Be careful of people asking for money If I want something, I will personally call or send a voice note.”

He urged viewers to report any videos that might surface showing him in a compromised state.
