This strawberry lemon sorbet is about to be the solution to all your scorching hot summer days. Rely on this simple and delicious recipe that contains healthy fruits to bring you the cooling and refreshing breeze to your hot summer days.

While the month of January comes with many worries, the monthly budget for groceries at this time of the year can be a tad bit tighter compared to other months. The bit that is made available is often allocated to cover the staple items making no room for luxury items that are typically enjoyed in the summertime such as ice-cream as they tend to be out of budget.

Stick with us as we introduce you to a fun, delicious, affordable and easy to make sorbet recipe that will be the highlight to all your scorching summer days. Achieve this recipe with only 3 ingredients and a blender as the primary requirement to obtain this frozen and fruity yummy delicate. This yummy cooling alternative has various health benefits as it has no added preservatives.

Gather your loved ones and ask them to join in on the fun of making this strawberry lemon sorbet.

Guiding us through this recipe is Dagmara Anna Lenaiartek, an Australian based digital content creator who creates and shares her recipes.

To achieve this recipe:

  • Cut four lemons in half and carve the inside of the lemon perfectly while still maintaining the boat shape of the peels.
  • Blend the lemons and strain the juices to remove residue pieces
  • Take the strained lemon juice and pour it into ice moulds and allow it to freeze overnight.
  • Add approximately one and half  cups of halved strawberries into a blender and blend.
  • Add the frozen lemon ice cubes to the mixture and blend further until smooth.
  • For extra flavour you may add syrup.
  • Store in freezer.

To add a bit of glamour to the presentation, scoop up your sorbet and serve it on the lemon peels that you had saved earlier and call them “refreshing strawberry lemon sorbet boats.”
